Nationwide UKAS Calibration & Service
Our service and calibration team has decades of experience in the industry and operates out of both the Head Office in Leicester and the Northeast Service Centre located in County Durham. This ensures nationwide coverage to carry out maintenance and calibration of all types of weighing products from analytical lab balances through to heavy industrial systems such as weighbridges, vessels and silos.
Our professional and reliable service engineers provide a fast response to service requirements including breakdowns, minimising downtime and lost profits.
Accreditations & Associations
MWS is registered under the ISO 9001:2015 scheme for quality assurance in service, calibration, design and manufacture via SGS and is ISO 17025 UKAS approved for Calibration Laboratory. MWS also adheres to the UK Weighing Federation’s code of practice for calibration procedures and is approved for the self-verification of trade approved weighing machinery.
Weighing Software
MWS works with software partners to deliver a turnkey solution under the name WeighLogic. Capabilities include batch traceability, labelling, average weight, recipe weight, stock control and many more modules.
WeighLogic can help reduce waste, streamline processes and deliver results across manufacturing, distribution, production, farming and many more industries.

MWS Factory
The MWS Head Office is conveniently located on the A6 in Birstall, Leicester, just 15 minutes from the M1. The 17,000 sq. ft premises include a large, dedicated welding/fabrication area, assembly bays, two open plan offices over two floors and a large, separate storage area for stock. There is also a dedicated boardroom where MWS has held several successful seminars and training sessions for customers and our partners to learn about new products.
In 2020, MWS opened its first regional office in County Durham, and in 2022 we doubled the workspace to better serve our rapidly expanding client base in the northern region of England and Scotland.
